Loading Bay Flooring is designed for heavy impact areas such as loading bays & heavy use FLT traffic.
The Superior Resin Store high performance loading bay flooring system is a multilayered 2-3mm system, is perfect for loading bays & factory floors as well as MOT garages. It offers very good impact resisrance, excellent abrasion resistance, very good chemical resistance & is very hard wearing, it is also easy cleaned & seamless. It can be tailor made for slip resistant profiles & is perfect for areas requiring a premium finish. It comes in a decorative range of colours & is very easily applied. Area lines can be easily applied using the same product in a different colour.
Superior Resin High Build Epoxy is easily applied by roller & soft squeegee.
Grinding or Shotblasting are the preferred methods of preparation.
The substrate needs to be a minimum strength of 25 N/mm2. It should be free from laitance, dust & other contamination. The surface should be dry. If no underlying DPM is evident then two coats of Damp Tolerant Primer is required. If residuel Oil contamination is evident within the substrate, then Oil Tolerant Primer is required. Floor Strengthening Primers can be used if the substrate is weak,
STEP 1- Apply Base coat - Apply Epoxy Primer by roller or squeegee. While base coat is wet, compltly cover to excess at 12m2 for 25kg bag of meduim grade 30's mesh Quartz. Once dry, remove by brush & vacuum the loose quartz.
STEP 2- Apply Body coat Resin by trowel or squeegee at 25m2 per 25kg unit. While body coat is wet, compltly cover to excess at 12m2 for 25kg bag of fine grade 52's mesh Quartz. Once dry, remove by brush & vacuum the loose quartz.
STEP 3- Apply Top coat by squeegee & roller at 10m2 per 5kg mixed unit.
