The 2mm Epoxy Self Levelling compound is easily applied by using a 3mm notched trowel & finished using a spiked roller.
Grinding or Shotblasting are the preferred methods of preparation.
Epoxy Primer is required on the substrate.
The substrate needs to be a minimum strength of 25 N/mm2. It should be free from laitance, dust & other contamination. The surface should be dry. If no underlying DPM is evident then two coats of Damp Tolerant Primer is required. If residuel Oil contamination is evident within the substrate, then Oil Tolerant Primer is required. Floor Strengthening Primers can be used if the substrate is weak,
