Super hard 2-3mm thick 'one day' rapid curing Epoxy quartz slip resistant system. £55.55 per m2 (15m2 from a 45kg pack)

Superior Resin High Build Rapid Curing Epoxy is easily applied by roller or a soft squeegee. 

Grinding or Sanding are the preferred methods of preparation. 

The substrate needs to be a minimum strength of 25 N/mm2. It should be free from laitance, dust & other contamination. The surface should be dry. If no underlying DPM is evident then two coats of Damp Tolerant Primer is required. If residuel Oil contamination is evident within the substrate, then Oil Tolerant Primer is required. Floor Strengthening Primers can be used if the substrate is weak, 

SYSTEM METHOD OF APPLICATION

STEP 1 - Apply primer by roller or squeegee  ( 1.5 hour cure)

STEP 2-  Apply a clear body coat by roller or squeegee 

STEP 3- Whilst the body coat is wet to touch (within 15 minutes of application) immediatly cover by broadcasting the quartz aggregate by hand scatter. Completly cover the body coat with the chosen QUARTZ to excess so as no shiny resin is visible  (1 .5 hour cure)

STEP 5- De- nib using a large floor scraper or trowel edge,This is to remove all flakes that have partiialially been soaked in resin. Vacuum the floor totally clean.

STEP 6- Apply a further clear body coat by roller or squeegee  ( 1.5 hours cure)

STEP 7- Apply a final clear coat (Matt or Gloss) by roller or squeegee. ( 2 hours cure) 

One complete mix consists of :

1 x 5kg Primer

2 x 5kg Body coat clear sealer

2 x 25kg of  blended 0.3mm to 0.6mm Quartz aggregate 

1 x 5kg Ultraviolet  WD Resin final sealer ( Matt or Gloss)  

This quantity will cover 18m2 at 2-3mm thick

For an area of 18m2, you will need the following components 

1 x 5kg Primer

2 x 5kg Body coat clear sealer

2 x 25kg Blended Quartz aggregate 

1 x 5kg Ultraviolet  WD Resin final sealer ( Matt or Gloss)
